CHAPTER 4

“A woman’s body was found!” “What?!” Another body was found, “Where?” “It was seen again in the same place, where the first corpse was found. Fucky! “Is that true?” “Yes! That’s what we’re talking about now! The clothes are also broken. “What a pity…” “What died?” “The police did not say, nor could they be identified when they saw it because the body was said to be full of blood, but it looked like it was tied based on the scar on the wrist and then on the foot.” Fucky! What happened last night quickly entered my mind. It wasn’t just vampires I saw in the woods last night. There is also a girl! His wrist and foot were tied. Isn’t that… Alta talking about him? One by one, I thought back to what had happened that night. I thought that woman was also a vampire, but it wasn’t because her fangs were fake. That’s what used to be sold every Halloween: fake fangs. “Crime is rampant here in our town, as if a body was found just a while ago. It is said that there may be a serial killer here in our town, and our peers are being victimizede may be a serial killer here in our town, and our peers are being victimized… The case is not certain because the police are still keeping quiet about it.”The autopsy is not over yet.” Fucky! If my suspicions were correct, it was probably the woman I saw last night in the woods. If what that man said is true correct, it was probably the woman I saw last night in the woods. If what that man said is true… The woman is already dead. I remember getting the vampire’s attention. If that man hadn’t stopped me, most likely, I would have been the corpse in question now. That’s what I wanted last night… but even if I sacrifice my life, it will not serve as evidence or proof that vampires exist because the police will not investigate the possibility that the vampire did it. “Oh, that’s amazing there, Adra.” “Don’t worry, the victim won’t victimize you because they’ll be scared of you right away!” She teased me. I stared at him. “It’ll scare you more; it’ll make your crooked teeth tremble!” “It is beautiful! “It looks like my crooked teeth are useful somehow!” She laughs at what she said. “Let’s go.” I’m with her. I looked around. I don’t know why, but my eyes seem to be looking for something. I sighed heavily, disappointed that I didn’t find what my eyes were looking for. Even though I can remember some parts of what happened last night, I feel like there is still something missing that I need to remember. “Aw!” “What happened?” He did not answer immediately because he was busy rubbing his eyes. What happened here to Alta? “Oh my! Eye pain!” She complained while still rubbing her eyes. “What just happened?” “Something came in my eyes; it just went somewhere!” Two more eyes, really! The pain!” She was so close to my shoulder; her eyes were closed, and she rubbed it slowly. She blinked many times before looking at me. My eyes widened when I saw her eyes. The missing memory strikes my mind like thunder. I fell into the abyss. I did not drown because someone rescued me. That man! The image of his strong arms holding me flashed through my mind. The moonlight shines on his body, making him glow that night. The sound of the waves and his cold body My body stiffened when I realized what was missing in my memory last night. I shivered as I stared at Alta’s eyes looking at mine. Alta’s eyes are red, probably because of the ring that came into her eyes. It was as if I were staring into that man’s eyes as I stared at Alta. Fucky no! That was the last thing I saw last night before I lost my sight. That’s what I forgot to remember! Why did I forget? Her brow furrowed, and I’m sure she’s perplexed by my sudden action. “Hey! What happened to my eyes, and you look so shocked!? Blushing? Is it too red? Hala Jusko!” He remembers his promise. “Hey! “Come with me first; it’s too early.” I still couldn’t speak; I just let him pull me somewhere. She washed her face in the bathroom near the park. “Still red?” Her eyes are not that red anymore, unlike a while ago. “Not that much.” “It’s good! My eyes are still sore. “What’s the matter with me?” She looked in the mirror and then examined his eyes. I remembered that it couldn’t be erased from my mind until now.The man’s eyes were red. I don’t know his name, but I let him come with me to the forest. What a fucky decision, right? In my desire to prove myself, I let that man go! “What happened to you?” “I just kept quiet about that.” “H-ha?” What did Alta say? I never heard because I was busy thinking. “I don’t know about you, Adra! Your mind is going somewhere. I’ll be the first; thanks for coming. Only later!” Before marching out of the bathroom, he said this while smiling. I also went out, and while walking, I still couldn’t get my mind off what had happened. There is also a question that bothers me. “Why is his eye red?” When I entered the class without that man, I would have planned to talk to him in case he was not here. Where did that go? The class ended with me learning nothing because I couldn’t focus. “Aw!” I shouted. What the heck! Not even being careful. I turned to the one who was staring at me. “I’m sorry. I’m not staring at my path. I’m really sorry.” My forehead furrowed when I heard the voice of the woman bending over. Don’t tell him it’s bothering me again today. “Layla?” He raised his head, and his eyes widened when he saw me. “A-adra! I’m really sorry; we’re confused again. “I’m sorry,” she stuttered. “No, it’s fine.” It’s not fine. This is the second time she bumped into me. The road was wide, and there were almost no other students by my side, so it was impossible for him to hit me again. I couldn’t help but wonder if he meant the jar for me. “Sorry, that’s really Adra!” I didn’t hear what he said because I suddenly felt devastated, as if I were getting cold. My forehead furrowed. “Did you feel that?” I asked her. His two eyebrows will meet. “W-what?” “Suddenly cool.” I then promised to look around. My eye caught the man walking not far from us. Fucky! That’s him! I walked quickly in the direction of that man; I couldn’t say goodbye to Layla, and he couldn’t understand me either. I got to the hallway where he turned, but he wasn’t there. Fucky! Where is that? I sighed and rolled my eyes around—where could he have slipped? His speed was beyond my sight. I didn’t run slow; he was just really fast. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I shuddered to see him appear in front of me. Fucky! My gaze remained on his eyes. It wasn’t red like I saw last night. His eyes weren’t red before eitherasn’t red like I saw last night. His eyes weren’t red before either. So why do I expect her eyes to be red now? But why did his eyes turn red last night? It’s impossible just because of the light or something. “Why are you following me, Miss?” He asked. “I just want to ask something…” I stammered. He did not speak; he remained staring at me. “How did I get home last night?” His eyes narrowed and his eyebrows furrowed. “What?” “How did I get home last night?” The last thing I remember is that I fell into the ravine, and when I woke up, I was already at home.” His forehead furrowed even more at what I said. He even approached me as a reason to take me back. His face is serious. “You can still remember?” Probably! What made him think I would force that? I almost died, so I will never forget that! “Yes, why can’t I forget?” Instead of answering me, he pulled my wrist into the classroom without a classmate. I stood near the door. I leaned back against the door and then turned to him. “I have another question,” “Why are your eyes red?” Her eyes widened slightly, and her mouth opened. “That was the last thing I saw before I fainted.” He came closer to me. He stared into my eyes intently. It was as if he was talking to me while staring at a language I didn’t understand. It took a minute, then he moved away a little and took his eyes off me. I blinked a few times. “What happened?” Why is he staring at me for so long? What is he going to do? “Finally,” he said in relief. “What finally? “Why are you saying that?” His eyes widened again. “Why are you staring at me for so long?” You didn’t save me last night; you can stare at me for a long time. “I don’t even know you; I don’t even know your name.” “What the hell?” His voice was already tinged with irritation. He approached me again, just staring at me again as I averted my eyes. He grabbed my chin and gestured it forward so that our eyes would meet. I didn’t let that happen because I closed my eyes. I heard him groan in frustration. What is this man’s problem? Suddenly, he stared. “Why don’t you answer me?” He did not speak. “I won’t open my eyes if you don’t answer me.” I strongly promise I need answers, not his f*****g long stare.I can’t hear anything from him. It feels like he’s not in this room anymore. I slowly opened my eyes and rolled them around. Fucky! He is no longer here! How did that happen? I blocked the door! I also haven’t heard that noise, so how did he get out of this place? My attention was caught by the window being open and the curtains dancing in the air coming from outside. It’s impossible for him to go out the window because he doesn’t fit in there! How did that go away? Fucky! What is going on around me right now? I’m confused. Fucky! My eyes widened when I realized something. Fucky! Why didn’t I think of that? Guts He knew the way to the middle of the forest. He also always appears in front of me, even though I can’t see him walking towards me. If I was thinking right, why did he tell me that wasn’t true? He humiliated me in front of the entire class just to don.So how… What is his reason? My forehead furrowed when I saw a man in front of Layla, she was bullied by Bernadette and her friends. That guy is wearing a hood, which is why I can’t see his face. “Leave her alone; she’s not doing anything wrong.” His voice is deep. Fucky! That voice… That’s the guy! “So now you have a night of doing armor, huh?” Look Mr. I don’t care about you. You should f**k off; you’ve crossed the line.”You don’t know who you’re talking to,” Bernadette said. His head fell off without even touching it, showing his pale, gorgeous face to everyone. His strong features make him look more dangerous. Bernadette’s eyes widened. He could not speak immediately. He seemed to be statuesque on the stand. The man no longer waited for Bernadette to speak. He kneeled down and picked up the scattered books one by one. Layla did the same. I saw him hold out his hand to Layla. “Because you have to be careful.” I took Layla’s arm and helped her stand up before she could even reach her hand. His forehead furrowed at what I did, but he just let me go. I turned to the man. The two of us met eye to eye. Until now, it seems like I can still see his red eyes. His eyes didn’t take long to open for me as he turned to Layla. “T-thank you.” Layla. “You don’t need to thank me.” “Take care of yourself; that would be enough.” Fucky! Why is there such a thing as this man? He would have given the book to Layla when I took it from him. “She’s right; be careful, Layla.” “It looks like everyone here at Tibythria University has hit you.” I laughed and then gave him the book. I’m not sure, but I could see the annoyance on his face at what I did. That didn’t last long because she was also ashamed to bend down to look at the man. I looked around. “The show is over, and you’re leaving!” Chismakers. They were obedient because he also took off. “S-thank you again.” Layla. The man nodded at him and then walked away. “s**t! “Who’s that hot guy?” Bethany. “I don’t know, but he’s so hot!” Bernadette was still an i***t. I turned to Layla. “You don’t have to thank me.” “Hey Adra! What’s that?!” Alta shouted as she approached. Fucky! Why am I wasting time? I need to talk to him. “Let’s talk later, Alta.” I hurriedly promised, then ran away. Where is that? I continued walking. The image of what happened last night made me realize everything. Now it all makes sense to me. His pale face and his mysterious acts The fact that he leads me right to the spot where I saw the vampires The reason why we were out of that place in just a blink of an eye Finally, his red eyes. “Wait!” Fucky, that’s him! He was walking out of school. I need to catch up with him. Fucky! He disappeared again! I’m out of school; I don’t know where my foot is taking me, but I just let it go. For a few minutes I seemed to be walking aimlessly, and I also didn’t know where I was because of the thought. I looked around. Fucky! I’m far from school! I sighed heavily and closed my eyes. I’m so freaking frustrated right now! I need to confirm it. My gut is telling me that I’m right, but I need confirmation from him. “Why are you following me?” I almost fell over in shock when I heard his voice in my ear from behind. He appeared out of nowhere, like he always does.
