-Quinn- I hadn’t slept at all, and when I went to knock on Bruce’s bedroom door, an exhausted Alpha greeted me, his eyes red and his hair a mess as if he had been running his hand repeatedly through it. He was still not dressed, so I believed he had just gotten out of bed. “Hey,” I greeted. “Hey,” he groaned, rubbing his eyes. “Did I wake you?” “A little. I wasn’t really sleeping,” he admitted. “So I’m guessing you had as crappy a night as me,” I commented. “Without a doubt,” he replied, then opened the door fully to allow me inside. We walked over to the seating area, falling down on our own couches and groaning loudly. “Gosh, I can’t even imagine how Ana is feeling today,” I sighed. “Why didn’t we stay down there again?” “Because we both know she wouldn’t have accepted our help.
