SELENE'S POV.
"Allison, I'm not so sure about this," I said worriedly as she dragged me to Goddess knows where.
After that whole drama back at the pack house, Allison had surprised me by deciding not to push any further with the questions. She'd clearly seen how uncomfortable I was with the topic and chosen to drop it, saying that I would tell her when I was ready.
I had been so grateful for that, not bothering to tell her that I would never actually be ready to talk about my experience that morning back at the mansion. Instead, I was glad and thankful for whatever she saw or thought that had helped change her mind, relieved that I wouldn't have to be forced to continue lying to her.
