SELENE'S POV.
Am I dead?
That was the first thought that came to mind as soon as I managed to peel my eyes open. It wasn't an easy task. It took me minutes and a handful of trials to accomplish that. Why? Because I could barely feel any part of my body at all. I felt like there was a large giant stone placed on top of me. My eyelids were extremely heavy, and so was the rest of my body.
I felt like I was coming out of a gladiator cage match. My entire body was aching, and my head was pounding so hard I could barely see. My eyes were tearing up with the slightest movements.
“Aarhhh...”
I groaned lowly in pain as I shifted around to sit up.
Taking a look at my surroundings, I froze when I couldn't recognize anything around me. The room was big and I was alone.
