"So her name is Kira, and she doesn't like us either. Great. We should stay away from anyone with that name from now on, Selene," Aliya said in my head, and I couldn't help but agree with her on that. We really should stay away. There seems to be something about that name that just has it out for us.
The girl I now knew as Kira turned to Dela as she continued to speak.
"No, seriously, girls, do any of you get this? Because I don't. So Alpha Aldric rescued her from whatever troubles she got herself into and then was forced to bring her back with him because she claimed to have passed out in his arms that night. We get that part. We all do. But is that why she continues to hang around here days after she woke up and got back on her feet? What, you're not strong enough yet?"
