SELENE'S POV.
I watched as realization slowly settled in her eyes, and she looked at me with a sad expression.
"I'm so sorry, Selene. I swear I had no idea it was that bad. It must be really hard being an omega."
Dela said, and I could see the unshed tears shining in her eyes, causing mine to widen as I quickly shook my head at her.
"Oh, no! I swear it's okay, Dela, don't worry. It's really not that bad."
I quickly tried to reassure her, internally afraid that she may make a big deal out of it and end up attracting the attention of everyone at the table or, even worse, the entire room. I could already see a few people turning their ears in our direction, trying to hear what we are talking about while others just continued to glance in our direction almost every three seconds.
