SELENE'S POV I let out another scoff as I sat in the back of the car, my elbow on the window, and my knuckles supporting my cheek. From the corner of my eye, I could see Aldric constantly glancing at me, but I ignored him, pretending not to notice. This is all his fault anyway. He doesn't get to look at me like I did something wrong, or like I'm the cause of all his problems when he was the one who dragged me into this stupid trip with him.
