SELENE'S POV.
I stared at his hand for a few silent minutes, trying to decide on weather or not to take it. I was standing a good distance away from him and whatever danger he might pose to me and at the moment I like it that way.
It means I'm still a bit safe. It means Aldric and whatever it is that's currently going on here would have to Walk all the way across the room before they can actually get to me.
But if I take his hand? If I go to him....
Then again I'm also currently standing in front of the same door that just locked all by itself right in front of my eyes. So maybe I'm not exactly safe here after all.
