I took a deep breath before I knocked on the door. I could hear the sound of the TV playing so I knocked a bit louder.
“Coming!” I heard a voice call out and I smiled as I waited for her to open the door. When she did, I couldn’t help but simply admire her beauty. She was dressed very casually in a pair of sweatpants and a sweater, but her cheeks were flushed and her lips looked fuller. “Lucien!” she exclaimed in surprise as she stepped forward. I frowned as I took a step back and I was curious as to why she had pulled the door somewhat closer.
