“Thorn,” I snapped as I tore my gaze away from the vampire. “What is this?”
“Allow me to introduce you formally,” he said, and I frowned as he moved toward her. “This is Elizabeth, she was outcast by Dante many, many, years ago,”
“Ok, and you brought her here because?”
“Well, you asked me to provide you with proof, and here is your proof,” he explained, but he wasn’t making any sense, so I looked over at her.
“Why were you outcasted?” I questioned.
“Isn’t that just the million-dollar question?” she replied with a question of her own, but of course, she wasn’t actually expecting me to answer, so I kept quiet. “King Owen, I was outcasted because of my own personal beliefs. It didn’t correspond with Lord Dante and I accepted my fate,”
