This day started in the most intense way possible. I was casually making my way to my first class of the day when I spotted Sobek. He looked distressed, and people were just walking around him. No doubt scared that if they approached him he would hurt them, and he might. I wanted to ignore him too but my heart skidded to a halt at the sight of blood soaking a wonky-looking bandage he had around his neck. I wanted to ignore my instincts but they were telling me to help my mate. I couldn’t resist. There was no way I could leave him in that state, and I’m glad I did step in.
