Amaris went back to her room disheartened. There was no way for her to stop or even slow down what was coming. She had to go off of what she had seen Anna go through to know what to expect and what to be watching for. She decided to go and read the book some more to see if it contained anything else that was helpful. As she walked back to the desk, her eyes happened on the phone sitting on the far bedside table.
