Chapter 13

-Axel P.O.V.- 

"Please daddy." My mate moaned out in a begging tone. 

I wrapped my hand around his throat as I pulled him back into my chest. "Yes, mate?" I asked as I pulled his head back to where it fell on my shoulder and I licked across the side of his face. 

He moaned from the action as he clenched his tight little a**hole around my c**k even more. "Stop, daddy." He begged. 

I groaned as I stopped my thrusts and pulled out of him. I turned him around to face me because I was going to ask him what had happened, but he surprised me when he pulled me in for a kiss. I pulled him to me as I softly kissed his lips and he melted into me. This man has changed me in ways that I never knew were possible. I thank the Moon Goddess for blessing me with such an amazing mate who completes me. 

After a few minutes, we pulled apart and I pulled out some emergency clothes that I had stashed in my office, in case I ever shifted in my office, or sometimes I come up here after a run in my wolf form. And then we cleaned ourselves up in my private bathroom. I just had on some basketball shorts as he had on my basketball shorts and my t-shirt. I soon filled him in on everything that had happened when he left to go after my sister and once I was done, he told what he and my sister had talked about. 

I swear, I will protect my mate and sister with everything in me. No one will get them or stop me from protecting them. Once we were done, we both got to work. Forrest wanted to help me, and there was no talking him out of it. I don't mind that he wanted to help me, but he just didn't have to. I was busy digging through my files while Forrest was on the computer trying to look up this Cary Blackburn when my father came in. 

I didn't even stop what I was doing when I spoke. "Yes, father." 

"I have the treaty that I signed with that Alpha. You will need it." He simply spoke as I heard him walk over to my desk. 

I looked up from what I was doing to see he just dropped off the treaty and then left my office. What a damn coward. I mean, he is the one who endangered his daughter and now he is not even going to do anything about it?? Whatever. Back to the task at hand. Now even a minute later, Opal and my mother were walking into my office. I dropped what I was doing to walk over to my sister and when I was in front of her, she threw herself into my arms. I caught her as I kissed the top of head and she just clung to me more.

"I will protect you, Opal. With everything in me." I tell her quietly. I can feel her nod against my chest as she just clung to me. 

"We are all here for you, Opal." My mother says and I could feel anger rise in Opal. 

Opal pushed off of my chest and turned to our mother. "How dare you say that to me. How dare you sit there and say that we are all here for you. When could Axel and I ever count on you for anything? Huh? Your own son couldn't even count on you to stop your husband from ab**ing him! My own brother was there for me when I got my first period, when I got my heart broken, and when I almost got r**ed! My brother was the one who took the wrath of our father when I was the one who did something because we couldn't count on YOU to have our backs." She screamed at our mother, who just stood there with tears in her eyes. I put my arm on Opal's shoulder and she looked up at me and broke down. She fell to her knees as the sobs just raked through her, so I fell to my knees and clung onto her as she sobbed. 

I looked up at our mother and spoke softly. "She is very upset right now, so don't take what she says to heart. But I think it would be best if you left." My mother nods as she walks out of my office. Deep down, I knew my sister meant every word that she said to our mother, but I just wanted to defuse the situation. 

It broke my heart to hear my sister this upset as she sobbed in my chest, but it also filled me with anger. I was going to kill that Alpha if he thought that I was going to uphold a treaty that was signed by my father. Ha, Forrest's old Alpha was also blind if he thought that he could take on my pack. My pack was strong as they all trained as me. My warriors were some of the strongest as we would have to help neighboring packs that were bigger than ours, but my warriors were stronger and better than theirs. I take pride in my pack and my pack members, and I know that we will win in the end. 

But for now...it is better to train and get ready.
