Chapter 4

-Axel P.O.V.-

My wolf and I were furious that not only a worthless man who called himself Alpha would hurt my mate, but the fact that he thought that we would reject him! How could he think that?? I kept my arms around my mate as I used his scent to calm me down because if not, I would have taken him right then and there. Once I was calmed down, I let go of my mate and took a step back. I closed my eyes over and took a deep breath because being that close to him was making me hard. I opened them back up to see my mate looking at me with a smile on his face and I smiled back.

“I need to get ready, and so do you. I want to show you around my pack land and let you meet a few people. The pack members should see who their second Alpha is going to be.” I then held out my hand for him to take. “Now come on.”

He took my hand and I led us back to the room. I gave him some clothes while I also let him borrow whatever he needed for the day. I threw on some dark blue jeans with a simple black t-shirt while my mate wore some shorts with a t-shirt. We headed out and I took his hand to lead him down to the kitchen. I stayed in the pack house, in the Alpha suite, but what I really wanted was my own house. I wanted my own privacy once I got my mate and now, I finally have him.

We headed into the kitchen where I let him meet some of our omegas, and then I led him out to the backyard. I showed him where we trained, our gym, and everything else that was on the property. We have a huge pack land and I have filled it to where we don’t need to rely on anyone. After about 3 hours, we were walking into my office so he could ask me questions. I sat down in my chair while he sat down in front of my desk.

“So how does everything work around here?” He asked me.

“We are different from other packs. I am a Demon Wolf, so I train my warriors hard, so we are one of the most feared packs among the lands. Unlike other packs, everyone is treated fairly. Omegas are just as important as the warriors. I do not stand for pack members to bully or be disrespectful to anyone. I am a fair Alpha, but others say that I could be nicer.” I say with a shrug. I then went on to explain everything else that there was to know while he listened. Once I was done, he leant back in the chair and stared at me.

“I must say I am amazed at how you run your pack. I am even more glad to be your mate now that I have heard how you are.” He tells me with a slight blush.

I went to respond when my Beta came bursting through the door. I growled at him, but he looked scared for some reason. I got up and placed my hands on my desk while Forrest also stood up.

“Alpha, your dad has some guests’ downstairs…and I think it was the ones he was trying to push on you.” My Beta stammers out. I growl which causes Forrest to come over to my side and wrap one of his arms around mine.

“Hi, I am Forrest. I am your Alpha’s mate.” I soon hear my mate's voice and I look up to see the shocked expression of my Beta.

“I feel like a horrible Beta because I was just about to introduce myself. I am the packs’ Beta, Lucas.”

“It is nice to meet you, Lucas.” My mate responds. My Beta then bows to him and then he leaves.

I decided to mind-link my sister so she can come up here and keep my mate company.

Me to Opal: Can you come to my office and keep my mate company while I go and handle the mess our father is trying to start?

Opal: On my way bro.

I take a deep breath before I slightly turn to engulf my mate in a hug. He hugs me back and I pull apart to stare into his eyes. His eyes keep looking from my lips to my eyes. I smirk because I know he wants to kiss me. I lean forward and brush my lips against his which causes him to whimper. I go to kiss the corner of his lip when he decides that he has had enough. He grips the back of my neck and slams my lips onto his. He moans into the kiss which causes me to lose focus.

I turn him to where his back is on my desk and I trap him when I put my arms on either side of his body. I lick his bottom lip which causes him to moan so I use this to my advantage as I shove my tongue in his mouth. I swirl my tongue along with his and I take one of my hands off of my desk as I place it on his clothed member. He pulls away from the kiss to throw his head back and he moans. I start to palm him as I kiss down his neck and he is breathing very heavily. Our make-out session is broken up when my office door is slammed open followed by my fathers’ voice.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING SON?!”

I break from the kiss to look over my mates’ shoulder while he buries his face in the crook of my neck. I growl at my father while I feel my anger rise until I look over to see an Alpha standing there with his daughter. She has a shocked look on her face while the Alpha is looking confused. I carefully pick my mate up and place him on my chair while I walk around my desk to where my father is. I soon see Opal walking through the door, and she pushes our father out of the way as she makes her way over to my mate.

I stop when I am about 10 steps away from them all. “I am kissing my mate. What are you doing, father?” I ask my father with nothing but bitterness and venom in my voice.

“I am not understanding what is going on here. You didn’t inform me that your son does indeed have a mate.” The Alpha then turns to my father to question him.

“Yeah, why didn’t you tell him that I had found my mate? Our did me throwing you through my door really f**k up your head?” I sneer at my father who is burning with rage.

The Alpha then turns to me and bows. “I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I should have spoken to you before I just followed your fathers’ words. My daughter and I will be leaving now, and I hope this does not interfere with our treaty.”

I nod back to the Alpha. “It does not interfere. I am more than happy to continue our treaty. I am sorry you were brought here under false pretenses.”

With that the Alpha and his daughter leave my office and I look over to see my father seething with anger.

“HOW DARE YOU DO THAT?? HOW DARE YOU CHOOSE THAT ROGUE...”

My father didn’t get to finish his statement as I lunged at him. I gripped his throat and lifted him off the ground as I could feel my demon wolf coming to the surface. I threw him against my office wall which caused it to crack.

“HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT MY MATE. I WARNED YOU, OLD MAN.” I started to stalk towards him when my mate's voice stopped me in my tracks.

“STOP!” He yelled and my gaze snapped over to him.

“You want me to stop? You want me to stop when he has done nothing, but be rude and disrespect you since the moment I met you?” I ask my mate.

“Yes. He is your father.” I threw my head back and laughed once he said that. My mate just looked at me with shock in his eyes.

I went to say something when my mother’s voice stopped me. “Go outside and shift while I speak to your mate. Do not let your father anger you. Go and get rid of it.”

I headed out of my office and once I stepped out the back door, I shifted. My pack members all got out of my way as I ran off to the woods.
