Lexi looked a little panicked when she saw the twins standing there, but I stayed sitting and I just looked at them.
“Lexi is in trouble. Her parents kicked her out and she needs somewhere to stay. Isn’t that what a packhouse is for?” I asked.

I heard Lexi gulp and she stood up but she couldn’t look the twins in the face.
