Battleground of Celestial

This is where I should get my answer from. As I stand right in front of an abandoned church, in the town which I did not know existed at all. There are no people or anything alive around the area. At first, I thought I had arrived at the wrong place, but I checked the location that they had sent me via the email that they had sent me. I know I’m in the right place.  I’m glad that I didn’t delete that email before, thinking that I thought it was spam the first time I saw it. I recalled that day when a mysterious email arrived in my inbox…  [A few days ago]  *Ting!*  The sound of my phone notification rings suddenly.  I thought it was something important, so I pulled my phone out even though I’m not supposed to do that. The factory that I work in right now wouldn’t allow you to do that if you’re currently working.  I rarely receive notifications, plus the only people that have my contacts are my family. This probably means that something happened…  But as soon as I brought it up, I noticed it was an email notification. I click to bring it up and the moment I see the content- To: Alan Marc From: PrimeStellar@zmail.com Date: Monday, December 1, 2021, 09:23:01 EST Subject: Invitation to a grand event  (Make your wish come true!)  Hello, we’re honored to announce that you’re invited to our grand event, The Celestial Games. You’re expected to be here at this location. -Embedded Link- ‘A spam email?’  I guess I was mistaken to think that it was something important. But again I got these kinds of things, as I remember I never even give my emails to any sites at all.  There’s no need for me to think about it… it’s not like it would be something beneficial at all. Better to just resume my work and put my phone back in my pocket before the others realize I use it now.  Still, what a crap name for an event, The Celestial Games. It sounds like an event for kids… I think even I could find a better name than the Celestial Games- I paused for a bit as I remembered something regarding the name. The more I say it, the more I think that I have heard that name before when I was younger… But when?  Because I want to concentrate on it, I stopped working as I headed to the employee break room to think about it.  I sat on the chair as I reopened the email back again… as I then stared at it for quite a long time.  Until finally I remember that name. It couldn’t be- I was in shock as I finally realized that it had the same sender’s name plus the same content as the envelope that my big brother received twelve years ago.  Of course, after receiving that letter, my big brother acted strangely and for a few days… he went missing and nobody could find him anymore. He simply disappeared just like that, as if he never existed or anything.  Is this a mere coincidence or?  I know my brother has been missing for twelve years already and to be honest; I have already accepted that fact… As the authorities do say, they couldn’t find any clues. Hearing about that, we all felt hopeless, but there's nothing else our family could do but to just live on with our lives.  But seeing all of this makes me realize I might learn something about what had happened to my big brother twelve years ago. This must have some connection to why my brother went missing.  I still had doubts about this, but there’s nothing wrong with checking it out, because if this event has a connection with my brother… I could learn more about what’s happening to him and whether or not he’s still alive.  [Present]  As I walk inside the abandoned church. There’s a mysterious figure wearing some kind of odd mask greets me the moment I walk into the place.  “Welcome, you must be Alan, right?” The mysterious man said that.  The moment I heard the man say my name, I somehow became cautious. As I never tell my name to him at all… So how can he know my name?  “How on earth you-”  Before I could finish my sentence, the mysterious man handed me an odd mask as he said. “They all are waiting for you. Please put on your mask and enter the hall.”  They? Does that mean that there are more people here… Well, it could be, since it’s an event after all.  There are a lot of questions that I want to ask this man here, but if this thing is about to be started already, I should head inside first. To meet with the other people that attend this mysterious Celestial Games.  Suddenly, I heard some noises inside.  Because of that, I am concerned that the games might have started already. So I quickly enter the hall without wearing the odd mask on my face.  But the moment I enter the hall, it seems like the game has not even started yet. All the people were still sitting on the bench while only one person was standing up.  Of course, because of my sudden entrance, they shifted all the attention towards me. What’s strange is none of them utter anything about it as they simply just look at me.  Is there something on my face? Why they are-  I suddenly realized that they all are wearing their masks and I haven’t put on my mask yet. So with that, I quickly put the odd mask on my face.  The only man that’s standing then said, “So you’re our last participant, I welcome you… Please take a sit as I will then give you the detail of what is all this about.”
