CHARLOTTE The next morning started with us taking a jog around the house. The guards looked puzzled when we set off at dawn, but soon they realized what was happening and relaxed. By the end of the jog, I was breathless but insisted on continuing. A few minutes later, I got the hang of it and went for a second round. Sonia suggested that the training at the gun range would happen later, and I readily agreed. A guard followed me to the apartment to ensure I got in safely, and there was nothing to worry about. It made me a bit uneasy to think that someone had been in here without my consent, but that was the emotion I was trying to overcome.
