“I struggle to fill a third of my plate with speed foods. I don’t like most veg.” “It can be tough, especially if there’s things you don’t eat.” Bear watched Pete put a small amount of salad on his plate then spear a piece of tomato and put it in his mouth. “ “Tangy.” “That’s my secret dressing. Well, not that secret really. Just fat-free vinaigrette with some added herbs.” Pete helped himself to more salad from the bowl. When Pete ate more casserole, Bear said, “That’s actually got a fair amount of speed in it, too. Although I cut it up into small pieces and it’s blended into the gravy.” Pete swallowed. “Wow.
