Chapter 9 Dale slid the empty disc into his computer, punched the ‘save’ button and waited. In less than a minute a year’s work had been condensed onto a single plastic disc and when he took it out of his computer he kissed it before placing it safely in a labelled case. That evening he slept well. He had finally finished his work, managed to avoid his uncle and in less than eight hours he would be in Dominic’s arms again. His dreams that night were sweet. When he went downstairs the following morning he could hear his uncle on the phone in his study. The thought had occurred to him to go and say hello but then he decided against it.
