Disappointments and More
(Red’s POV)
I watched Gracie think about what I has asked her.
I could tell she was struggling with the answer. She was genuinely having a hard time.
An internal debate about something.
“Gracie?”
She looked back up at me and I knew I needed to give her more time. I hated to see her like this, but she needed to come to a decision on her own. It’s not that I wouldn’t try to influence her and make sure she remembered why she wanted me.
“How did you know I was here?” She asked me.
“In Paris or in this Garden?” I asked with a smile.
