Drinks in Him
“Conrad, it’s great to see you again!” I said, turning my eyes away from Red and the confusing look in his eyes were giving me.
Conrad took a seat beside me in the booth, sliding his arm behind me and leaning into to me. “When I heard you wanted to meet me, I couldn’t say no, now could I?” He asked me.
I smiled at him.
Conrad and I had dated after I had come to LA. He was one of the only people from my past life that had supported my decision of becoming an actress. He actually helped me a lot. I had thought we might be perfect for each other, but over time we both realized that we both needed to find other people. You could say that Conrad wasn’t the settling type just yet, we both knew he just hadn’t found the right person to do it with.
