Despite what he’d told Kent before leaving him at the coffee shop, Jordan didn’t actually have something that needed his attention—not in the way he intended Kent to take his words. He knew his current client was safely ensconced at home in the condo he owned in LoDo, enjoying dinner with his wife and another couple. A couple who was on the list Jordan had asked for of people who were either friends or business acquaintances of the Longs. Jordan had checked them out and they passed his inspection.
