“I’m glad you’ve decided to join us today, Lilac.” “I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” With baskets of bread and pastries both in my hands, I trekked alongside Amara, Lilac and Anthony. People walked towards the same direction, probably headed to the festival as well. The afternoon skies are clear blue. The soft breeze is warm.
