I rushed into Elisabeth's room and found her lying on the bed with Alpha Nathan, Ana and two other elderly betas standing beside the bed.
“What happened to her?” I asked Ana whose eyes were on her mother.
“Her food was poisoned with wolfs bane,” she replied and then turned back to her mother with a worried countenance. “I don't know who would do this to her, no one dislikes my mother so why would they poison her?” she said and looked at Elisabeth again.
This was all Saundra’s doing, how could she do this to her mate's mother? I frowned still looking at Elizabeth as Nathan turned around to one of the betas standing behind him.
“Will she be fine?” he asked.
“She will be okay for a few hours but in order to heal her permanently we need a special kind of flower called the anti-wolfs bane
