Chapter 6

1214 Words
I looked around curiously with my eyes widened in fear and from the distance I saw five human figures walking out of the shadows, they were all werewolves and i could smell their instinct to kill. My bones cracked as a strong energy crept through my veins and my fingers curved into claws. I looked at the frightening faces of the werewolves and their blue eyes glowing under the moonlight. "Who are you and who sent you here?" I asked but they kept grumbling silently, their eyes searching for my weak spot, I could tell they were not going to talk, and I could not face them alone. The only option I had was to either run or die fighting. Moving backwards towards the ocean one of them pounced on me as I snuck off running as fast as I could, but I had not gone a long distance when one of them caught up with me, his flaring grey eyes was a clear signal for me to stay away. Trembling, I turned around to the other five which had now surrounded me. "Please don't do this, just tell me who sent you here," I said gazing into the grey eyes of the Gamma werewolf, but there was still no response, and before I could utter another word a strong wind blew across me and one of the werewolves was down. I looked at wounded beta werewolf with my heart racing and just then a bass voice shattered the silence. "Leave, all of you, before I change my mind," the voice sent a shiver down my spine and I turned around to see Ana's uncle standing behind me. My eyes dilated in shock as I looked into his furious red eyes. "He is an Alpha," I whispered, still staring at him as he walked up to my side and one after another they ran off until we were left alone. "Are you alright?" he asked but still all I could do was stare at him. Many thoughts were running through my mind, and one of the most unlikely one was how I couldn't pick up his scent the first time we met. He removed his gaze from me as he reached his hand to the beta werewolf which was barely alive. "No, leave him, please, I need him alive," I stammered. I stooped low as I fastened my eyes on him. "Who sent you here?" I asked staring pitifully at the beta werewolf who was now gasping for beath with blood rushing out of his neck. "Alpha Harvey…" He whispered. "He have your child." Hearing those words My eyes widened in shock and my heart began pounding in my chest. "I have to get my baby back," I whispered. "Where is he, where have they taken my child?" I stammered, my heart racing as I looked him in the eyes again only to realize that he was dead. "No," I whispered and tears dropped down my eyes and I held him by the collar. "Wake up and tell me where they have kept child!" I exclaimed, still trying to revive him as Nathan placed his hand on my shoulders. "That is enough, he is dead," he said and I pushed his hand away. "No, he is not dead, he has to tell me where my child is!" I exclaimed still In tears as he wrapped his hand around my body pulling me further away from the dead beta. "Andrea, that is enough." "No, let me go!" I cried out, struggling to set myself free from his hold but he held me firmly still. I wept for a few minutes until I had no more strength to weep and when I became a little calm he let me sit beside the shores while he helped clean up the mess. I was still contemplating on what I had heard when I felt his weight beside me. I had a load of questions running through my mind but I couldn't find myself to ask any because they seemed irrelevant at the moment. I also knew that he had questions but perhaps his silence meant that he was willing to give me some time to mourn. "I have to leave," I finally broke the silence and he looked at me. "Go where?" He asked. "It doesn’t matter," I replied. "All that matters is that you don't try to stop me." I said and he furrowed his eyebrows still staring intensely at me. "Listen, I don't know who you are but I think whatever reason you have to leave, we can talk about it." "No, we can't. You have done enough already, and I am grateful that you saved me tonight but that is as far as it goes, just stay away from me," I hissed and then stood on my feet as I left for the place Roy had packed his car. Getting into the vehicle I drove off heading for the New moon pack. If there was any way worthy of my death then it has to be while trying to take my child from whoever has him captive. The ride took until sunrise in the morning but I finally arrived at the pack mansion and getting out of the car I went straight for the entrance door. The werewolves guarding the entrance tried to stop me but I forced my way through and barging into the building I saw a few of the pack members gathered in the first floor including Elise, the mischievous werewolf who had framed me for the death of Alpha Cullen. "Where is Alpha Harvey, I need to see Harvey immediately!" I exclaimed about using the elevator when a sharp voice shattered the silence. "Who allowed her inside here, cease her now!" At the command two Gamma werewolves caught me on each arm as they forced me down on my knees. I looked towards the stairs to see who had issued the command only to see Elisabeth walking majestically down the staircase. Her presence was frightening when considering how they made her believe I had killed her mate. I was still staring in fright when Elise moved out of the crowd as he made her way to Elizabeth's side. "Luna, this action cannot go unpunished, we have to put an end to this rebellion," Elise said but Elisabeth ignored her, still holding her gaze on me. "Andrea Henderson, what is the meaning of this? I thought we warned you never to step foot in this place again," Elisabeth said, making her way towards me with deep hatred in her eyes. "Luna please, I would not have come here if it wasn't necessary, Harvey has my child," I said and she slapped me hard on the face. "Don't you dare speak!" she exclaimed with tears dripping down her eyes. "After all we did for you and your mother you had the guts to make me a window, and now you think you can flirt around with another man," she said spitefully and just then a sharp cry erupted in the silence. The crying sent a shiver down my spine and I looked to see the elevator open and Harvey walked out with a maid who was carrying a little baby in her arms.
