They were taken to rooms, separated for what they call the Seclusion. It is to be done within seven days, like a countdown before they had the Ascension. They were required to fast and to reflect all on their own, with the Holy Ones as visitors allowed to see them and no one else. Ragar has no idea how to do this though. He could pray but even if they are not secluded, he always prays, therefore, he doesn’t really understand the point of this. Srugor said to him before that it was like a test of strength, knowledge, and being an individual overall for the gods to see if they are worthy to be blessed and have their status change in the society. But then, he believes that the gods have been watching them even before. Their worthiness would have been proven at that time.
