POV: Burn The sun was barely up, casting a dim glow over the clubhouse lot, but I hadn’t slept. The hit on the lumberyard had gone off, but the more I thought about it, the more it felt like we’d walked into a trap. The Crows were smart. They wouldn’t just let us take out one of their operations without hitting back, and that meant we were running on borrowed time. I stood by the window, staring out at the rows of bikes lined up in the gravel, my mind already racing through the next moves.
