Inside the clubhouse, the air buzzed with the mixture of celebration and quiet strategizing. Members were happy to have survived another battle, but they were also aware that the peace they had fought for was fragile and needed careful nurturing. “We need to stay vigilant,” Jax said, leaning against the bar as the core members gathered around. “Victor’s gone, but that only makes our territory more appealing. There are plenty of people out there who’d love to take what we have.”
