POV: Burn The steady murmur of voices echoed through the clubhouse, but my focus was locked on Sophie as she sat beside her brother. She hadn’t let go of Josh’s hand since we’d brought him inside, and her eyes were hollow with exhaustion, but she was still holding on. She didn’t realize yet that the real fight was only beginning.
