POV: Burn I couldn’t shake her from my head. It had been hours since the run-in with the Black Crows and the woman who’d come out of nowhere, claiming she was just looking for her brother. She’d done what I’d told her—walked away, no questions, no arguments—but something about her didn’t sit right with me. I hated distractions. I didn’t have time for them, especially not now. With the Black Crows getting bolder and our club’s territory being encroached on, my focus needed to be sharp. I’d learned long ago that anything less than full control got you killed in this life.
