I listlessly watched the rescuers seal off the two holes leading to the ancient ruins while Deck draped a blanket over my shoulders and sat beside me. Shortly after my bout of panic, the aid arrived, and they pulled us up one by one from the temple. My hands were still shaking as I looked down at them, and I tightened the blanket around me and burrowed in it. I felt Deck's hand go around my shoulder. "Are you feeling better?" Deck asked softly. With a shaky breath, I cleared my throat and answered properly for perhaps the first time since they found me. "Yes..." "But?" Deck urged me, sensing the unsaid words.
