"You may now go, Vincenzo," Marku said after he wrestled the other alpha away from Annetta and me. Marku arrived after Annetta's frantic phone call to him, and he immediately ordered Vincenzo to shift back into his human form.
Vincenzo winced, likely still sore and pained from the harsh command. Still, he glanced at me apologetically before returning his attention to Marku. "I'm sorry, Signore. It won't happen again."
