The cold salt water sprayed on my face as the boat lurched to a stop next to the private docks of the island. Immediately, a group of guards blocked us. Using guns with silencers, we shot them simultaneously and then threw their bodies over the water. We signaled the boatman to keep his distance and stay hidden for the time being. Then we began our infiltration, careful to maintain our stealthy cover. Unlike their headquarters, the island was bustling with life. Guards patrolled every inch of the perimeter, and we were forced to split up in order to avoid catching attention. Alistair went forward while Ezio and I separated, him going east while I moved west.
