"What do you mean there's only a single bedroom left? This building literally has several floors," I asked the lady again at the counter. She typed a few more times on her keyboard, not that it made any difference. "I'm really sorry, ma'am. It's the middle of the first semester, and we're full. I'll transfer one of you to the next vacated room as soon as possible." I opened my mouth to say more, but Deck stopped me and pulled me away from the counter. "Thank you, miss. We'll get the room." The lady handed Deck the keys, and he practically pushed me towards the elevator. "Argh, let me go. I know there's still a spare room somewhere here.
