I stared at the man who tortured and made me suffer for most of my life. This was the first time I saw him outside of the dark, but his eyes still glowed that same color of yellow, and his voice still had that deep timbre that made me shiver in fear.
As if to confirm my thoughts, Ezio dragged himself next to me and shielded me with his body, hissing in anger. "If it ain't The Shadow making a grand entrance... why the f**k are you here?"
The Shadow laughed again. "I'm getting tired of your questions. Aren't you happy to see me? This is your chance to kill your most hated enemy. Oh, but wait, you can't. You can't even move your body! I bet if I cut your mate's throat right now, you can't stop me."
Ezio growled and further shielded me against The Shadow
