Henley “Well, I think we should go." A smile lit my lips as I looked into his eyes. “We don't want to keep your mother waiting." Declan nodded, smiling. “You're absolutely right." He put the car into gear and pulled back out onto the road. “So, are you nervous?" I nodded. “A little." He reached over and gave my hand a gentle squeeze. “Well, just be yourself, and you'll be fine. She's not a dragon lady, so you'll be safe." I burst out laughing. “And she won't bite my head off because we'll be eating." He laughed. “Now you're catching on." He pulled up out front, and the valets quickly approached our car. “Miss." The valet who opened my door smiled as he held out his hand to me. I took it, letting him help me out, and he closed the door behind me. I clutched my purse, and Declan wal
