I saw even before she saw me, and when she did I took my eyes away from her. I didn't want to give her hope, I didn't want to make her feel crazily hopeful about seeing me. I won't be of help to her, in fact, I would rather stay back. I would not want rumors flying around that I helped her achieve anything.
I want her to win more than anything but the council members have to know that it will be all her doing. If they would know even a simple thing about her, it should be that they know she would manage to do everything without anyone’s help.
And besides, none of the council members are really happy about me now. I have done things without your permission and I have gone ahead to organize the pair for the children without consulting them first.
But I don’t mind it does
