Soon we left my parents to go get dressed for the festival.
"How interesting is this festival?" Ava asked me.
" Oh, it's always very interesting. The music, the food, and it give you a chance to dress up. Aside from the yearly anniversary, the food festival is always the best. You will get to see different kinds of recipes. My mother had always won the competition. She's a good cook. I was hoping to beat her one day" I said excitedly but my last sentence doesn't show as much excitement as the first.
"You still can," Alejandro said.
He must have noticed that I was sad. I shook my head and smiled at him.
"Nah, I'm not interested in competing anymore. I just want to enjoy today" I said with a bright smile.
