While we all went back to our rooms waiting for what our fates would be, I tried to get some sleep, I even thought to go to the dressmaker in the pack, anything that would take my mind off things.
I didn't have a lot of money, of course, the money I had, I want to keep for rainy days. So I brought out some of my jewelry to sell.
Since I was not able to bring a lot of money with me, the jewelry will suffice. My mother and father had given me a lot of them as presents. I chose the chain jewelry that is made from precious diamonds. Those were perfect for a start.
After deciding which jewelry to sell first, I thought long and hard about who to ask about a pawn shop, maybe I will get something close to what's it worth. But nobody to ask from.
