When I came back from the cave, I was happy that I emerged as the winner but then something dropped in my mind. It will be bad for me to claim the price. I would be putting myself into more trouble claiming the price.
Those that sent me to another route knew what they were doing. They were already sad that I came back alive, now for me to also have the artifact might make them think I am a witch. This will give them a chance to plot against me.
So I knew that I needed to wake up and not let them hold anything against me. So I decided to give whoever comes in next. This will save me. Then as if luck wanted to be on my side, Ava came in next.
