I open my eyes and for the first time in these past few days. I don’t dread the sight as soon as I wake up. I am happy, because before me is Hiram, sleeping peacefully.
I move a little closer, snuggling, enjoying the feel of his warm chest close to me. He wraps his arms around me, kissing the top of my head.
I feel so happy and whole. It feels like I am in this bubble, where nothing exists except for us.
But my bubble is burst with a sharp knocking on my door. I get up cover myself with my robe and walk to the door. Hiram groans,
“Don’t open it, just come back.”
I give him a longing look.
“I wish Hiram, but it could be important you know.”
I walk upto the door and unlock it. I see Adam and Rick, standing right outside my door.
