Gavi filled every seeker's flask with water at the well outside the Worker village, then he found the extra flasks that he had in his own pack and filled them too. Jabari was unshakable in his plan to run across the desert to find Isika, but Gavi knew it was madness.
Gavi had spent his life supporting his brother's schemes; he wouldn't even know what it was like to refuse them. And he knew Jabari was right. Isika and Ben needed them. Even so, running across the desert was madness. When he put the extra flasks in his pack, it weighed as much as a house. He groaned and took some out to give away, one flask for each person.
