HENRY POV As Daxton and I stepped out of the café, I took a long sip of my black coffee, letting the bitterness settle in my mouth as I tried to shake off the tension that always built up around Maria. Every time I saw her, she managed to get under my skin in ways no one else could. My little ladybug had a knack for driving me to the edge of my control, and I couldn't figure out if I loved or hated it. Probably both.
