THIRD PERSON POV As he strode down the hospital hallway, blending with the crowd of visitors and staff, a tall, slender man with broad shoulders and a snake tattoo curling around his right hand slowed his pace. His eyes flickered toward a trio sitting on the row of seats against the wall: a young woman nestled between two guys who looked like they’d been carved out of granite. The girl, though, was different—her laughter was soft and musical, filling the sterile air of the hallway with something warmer, something delicate. A smirk played on his lips as he took her in. Long legs crossed at the ankles, and those blue doe eyes sparkled with an innocence he hadn’t expected. She was a hell of a lot cuter than he’d imagined, and far more alluring than the pictures had suggested. A real goddess
