◄David's POV► Despite the fact that I'm at work right now, Allison is never far from my mind. The topic of the conversation is beyond my comprehension because I am daydreaming about Allison. I left the mansion for work this morning without informing Allison, and Darwin must have realized I was thinking of her when I failed to participate in the conversation. I told Darwin she was unwell, and right now, her health is my top priority. A text notification prompted me to pull my phone out of my pocket. It was Allison inquiring when I would be returning. I remained silent. I simply re-stowed my phone in my pocket and turned to face Darwin. "Are you okay?" he inquired. I smirked as I shrugged my shoulders. "Thinking about Allison, huh?" he continued.
