The sound of a beeping monitor penetrated Jayson's sleep and his eyelids gradually slid open.
The first thing he saw was the unfamiliar ceiling above him, ‘where am I?’ Jayson thought as he struggled to get to a sitting position.
“Arg!” Jason groaned as he felt a sudden sharp pain from the back of his head.
“f**k, what was that?” he cursed, holding his head with both hands, that was when he noticed the bandages wrapped around his head.
His mind was blank at the moment and it seemed like he had no idea what happened to him.
He took in the small nature of the room and realized that he was in a hospital room. By his side was a drip stand which was connected to his wrist.
