It was a new day, the sun rose gently over the horizon, its golden rays spilling into the room and casting soft patterns on the walls. Jayson stirred awake, greeted by the faint chirping of birds outside his window; he sluggishly got out of bed; the air was crisp and cool. Stretching lazily, he strolled out of the bedroom and down to the living area, locating his dining room. In no time, Jayson prepared a cup of coffee, its rich aroma filling the entire dining room. “Ahhh,” he breathed out “Just how I like it,” he added. He sipped slowly, savouring the warmth generated from the coffee as he walked into the living room, dropping into one of the couches.
