I was anxiously waiting for Beth at the airport. Leo had let me borrow his car to pick her up. Her flight had landed. I was just waiting for her to get here.
“Jessica!” I hear her excited voice, squeal.
“Beth,” I squealed back.
I rushed over to her, hugging her. Beth dropped her bags and hugged me back. I had missed her, even though it hasn’t been that long.
“I missed you,” She said.
“I missed you too,” I replied.
We finally pulled apart, and Beth grabbed her bags, and we made our way to the car to head back to the apartment.
“So how is the Callen thing going?” She laughed.
“Bleh!” I laughed, “Do you know what he did yesterday?” I added.
“What has he done now?” She asked, rolling her eyes.
