I was on my lunch break from work and was heading out for a change.
“I will be back in an hour,” I said to Michael.
“Where are you off too? You don’t usually disappear for lunch,” He said.
“I got a hot lunch date,” I smirked.
I was going to see Jess, but she doesn’t know that. I thought I would surprise her. She has done it to me before. I can do it to her. And I know she gets her lunch at this time.
“The hottie that showed up here a couple of weeks ago?” He asked.
“I don’t kiss and tell, buddy,” I winked before heading out.
I stopped by, grabbing us food, and hopefully, she hasn’t eaten. I got us chicken salads and a portion of fries to share, along with coffee and bottled water. Hopefully, she won’t get too mad at me.
