Chapter-25

Abhik was searching for his brother all the way. Oh! how can I forget? he thought. He rushed to white pearl mansion and found Yuvan, who was simply basking in the sunlight and enjoying the day gazing at his garden planted in the east of his mansion by himself.

"Bruddah! " He was sweating and had a sigh of relief. Yuvan was still busy admiring his garden without taking a notice on Abhik.

"Bruddah, something happened." He went near to Yuvan and pouted but was sad as he was ignored and went to Charan as his complaint towards his brother who was standing beside Yuvan.

"What happened prince?" Charan smiled when he asked Abhik just to make him happy.

"Bruddah, just now father majesty had a meeting with those old monsters; I mean the ministers and he seemed to be furious. Now he has ordered a soldier to ask you to report to father. I sensed something wrong and rushed to inform." He completed his speech in a single stretch.

"Oh." Yuvan was simply listening and had no expression of shock.

"Bruddah, why are you not at all tensed? " He stared at both his brother and Charan simultaneously.

"I guessed." He looked straight into his eyes. Abhik was left shocked instead.

Amanya was racking her brain thinking how she ended up in a pond and that too in Sayyonee. Now this kid is saying it is cursed; wow, she felt herself living in a roller cost of mysteries.

"Alok, can you please tell me why it is said to be cursed. " Alok had a spark in his eyes and a smile led by some sort enthusiasm. Maybe he was too excited to share the history of Sayyonee. He sat at the foot of bed near Amanya and started to narrate the lost stories of Sayyonee.

"I guess you are not a resident of Sayyonee, right." She nodded in agreement.

"Then have you heard of the battle of scarlet that happened 1500 years ago"

"The.. legendary battle were immortal Deeksha scattered her soul?".

"Yes, It is believed that after the battle, the weapons stained in blood were drowned in this pool and their bodies were buried near. So no one drinks from this pool and it has water all the year, never gets dry and the land became barren. Thus, it is called cursed as it witnessed all this blood rain."

"Then, can I go there?"

"Yes you can but can't get into the pool and you are not well now. Wait till then." Meanwhile the village lady entered and asked them to have food and rest early. The elders will be there tomorrow morning to know about her. She added.

She is refilled with energy and thought of going back. Wait! after a long period, I got a break. It's relaxing to live as Apeksha for a while away from all the responsibilities. She thought and nodded looking at the mirror with a smile. It felt like she hided her cuteness of youth for a long period under the mask of commander, the cruel serpent and now got a chance to be a mayfly, a short life of freedom.
